Tried this place out as we come here yearly for sight & sound with our twin boys that are ten. Great location. The pool area is what made us try it out. It didn’t disappoint. I was trying to be away from my phone so no pics. Service is top notch. Rooms are very clean. It’s a bit more upscale of a hotel hence the higher price but totally worth it. There’s a restaurant inside but we were too busy to give it a shot. Menu looked great though. This will be our go to hotel yearly now.

We arrived around 545pm. Lady at desk was less than welcoming. Gave us our room, we finally got to it and it was not cleaned yet. Bed unmade with dirty sheets stacked in a chair. Got the second room, it was fine but someone else's name was welcoming us on the TV. Called to make sure that person wasn't going to be trying to get in later, desk said all was good. Overall cleanliness of common areas was poor, hallways needed vacuuming a lot.

Although our stay was fine my husband had booked and paid thru Expedia. When we returned home, I found out that the card I had used for incidentals and given to the front desk was also charged for the room. Twice now I have called Doubletree and they’re telling me to call Expedia Expedia charged us the correct amount and Doubletree charged us twice. I still haven’t gotten any satisfaction.
